PROJECT STATEMENT 项目介绍:
We approached the design of the lobby, and public spaces as a single experience. In our eyes, these are a showroom to the city and are the handshake between the building and its environment.
The lobby is furnished with octagonal elements that relate to the building and create a comfortable entrance area with seating, information, vegetation, water, air and light. The materials of the corridor are the same as those of the lobby to create a continuous experience. We examined office corridors, and found two typologies. By rethinking these typologies we could create spaces that are as efficient and flexible as the typical office corridor but create a unique experience and relate to the lobby by the use of materials and formal language.
