PROJECT STATEMENT　项目介绍:
The client for the project, “Kitty’s Office,” in Beijing, asked us to design their new Guangzhou Office. The client was very pleased with the concept and resulting space of the first office and asked us to apply a similar design to their new office space. The program is split over 2 floors, the 1st floor for meetings and sales, the 2nd floor for design and research. The functions that need enclosure and privacy are located in solid volumes, while the voids adjacent to the solids house the other functions. The wall and flooring materials strengthen this concept and relate to the functions of the space. The colors of the solid boxes are related to the logo of the company and the juxtaposition of the two different colored volumes is an apparent advertisement seen from the building’s exterior. Using blackboard paint, cork, white board, light boxes and wall-mounted shelving the walls get both aesthetic and practical value.
